ROLE
Gary Wagner is the
Projects Manager and Principal-in-Charge of Rogers Surveying, Inc. His duties include
managing surveying projects from inception to completion. This includes interfacing with
clientele, cost estimates, and project administration, quality assurance of overall
project scope, technical approach, and client satisfaction.
EXPERIENCE
Gary has worked in
the surveying field for 26 years. In this time, he accumulated considerable experience as
a field surveyor, office manager, project manager and quality assurance officer. Prior to
joining RSI he worked for the Bureau of Land Management as a Party Chief on many
projects in Montana and Colorado. He has served as Chief of Parties for extensive contract
work with the Washington State D.O.T., Bonneville Power Administration, Bechtel Hanford,
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and various other local, state, and federal agencies. He has
twelve (12) years experience as Chief of Parties and Party Chief on horizontal and
vertical, cadastral, route, photo control, boundary and topographical surveys. He also has
experience and training in the performance of GPS surveys. While at Kaiser Engineers
Hanford (1987-1989) Mr. Wagner initiated the field work and office computations for KEH
GPS program, which included Trimble training and coordination of personnel.
He is proficient in all types of
Theodolites and EDMs including Wild, Zeiss, Hewlett-Packard, Kern Topcon, Trimble
GPS receivers and Trimbles GPS Total Station. He operates various computer software
including Map, Starnet, Starlev, AutoCad, Softdesk, Trimbles GPSurvey, Trimvec and
Trimnet Plus GPS Post Processing software.
