Michael Fowler is the
Survey Manager and Principal-in-Charge of Rogers Surveying, Inc. His duties include
managing surveying projects from inception to completion. This includes interfacing with
clientele, cost estimates, and project administration, quality assurance of overall
project scope, technical approach, and client satisfaction.
Michael has worked
in the surveying field for 28 years. In this time, he accumulated considerable experience
as a field surveyor, office manager, project manager and office technician. He has served
as field engineer and party chief for extensive contract work with the Washington State
Department of Transportation, U.S. Corps of Engineers, and various other local, state, and
federal agencies.
Present
responsibilities as Corp. President/Survey Manager includes preparation of cost estimates,
legal descriptions, maps, survey computations, correspondence and coordination between
field and office personnel for project scheduling.
He is proficient in all types of
Theodolites and EDM’s including Wild, Zeiss, Hewlett-Packard, Kern Topcon, Trimble
GPS receivers and Trimbles GPS Total Station. He operates various computer software
including Map, Starnet, Starlev, AutoCad, Softdesk, Trimble’s GPSurvey, Trimvec and
Trimnet Plus GPS Post Processing software.
